Christmas as calamity Ibsen Award winner MacArthur Fellow and Pulitzer Prize finalist Taylor Mac takes on the holidays to celebrate the season in all of its dysfunction. There is more to the holidays than rampant gift giving In Taylors world creativity and imagination are their own spirituality. Taylor Mac reminds us of the collective power of our chosen families a message that rings true in spite of capitalisms attempt to hijack the holidays. For this production Taylor Mac is joined by longtime collaborators designer Machine Dazzle Music Director Matt Ray and a spectacular band to reframe the songs you love and the holidays you hate. Mac casts a cathartic spell for all those who find caroling eggnog and enforced family visits destabilizing Los Angeles Times

The theatre is wheelchair accessible. There is a special section available for wheelchairs in the Orchestra Left section behind Row S.
