Summer BreakSpot – Free Meals for Kids

We’re partnering with Summer BreakSpot to serve up no-cost meals for kid and teens 18 and under while school is out. Just visit the Vizcaya Village Farmers Market on Sundays, No application needed!

Meal hours will be:

• Breakfast: 9:30–10:30 a.m.
• Lunch: 12:00–1:00 p.m

Free, nutritious meals for kids and teens 18 and under. Summer BreakSpot is a federally funded program facilitated by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS).

• No registration, ID, or application required—just show up
• Available on-site while meals last

What kind of food is served at Summer BreakSpot Sites?

Summer BreakSpot sites serve nutritionally balanced meals that meet USDA guidelines.

Breakfasts include:

• 1 serving of dairy or nondairy beverages that are nutritionally equivalent to fluid milk
• 1 serving of fruits or vegetables
• 1 serving of grains

Lunches/Suppers include:

• 1 serving of dairy or nondairy beverages that are nutritionally equivalent to fluid milk
• 2 servings of fruits and/or vegetables
• 1 serving of grains
• 1 serving of protein

Snacks include 2 of the following:

• 1 serving of dairy or nondairy beverages that are nutritionally equivalent to fluid milk
• 1 serving of fruits or vegetables
• 1 serving of grains
• 1 serving of protein
