The United States Army Field Band and Soldiers’ Chorus ‘The Musical Ambassadors of the Army’ Live from Washington, DC presented by The Scranton Cultural Center, Gentex Corporation and L.T. Verrastro The Concert Band, the oldest and largest of The U.S. Army Field Band’s five ensembles, has performed for over 100 million people worldwide since its founding in 1946. Often joined by the Soldiers’ Chorus, the band presents marches, overtures, popular and patriotic music, and solos. They’ve collaborated with renowned orchestras and participated in presidential inaugurations and diplomatic events, embodying American pride and professionalism in every performance. ****Free Ticket**** Tickets to this event are free, although orders by phone and online may incur convenience fees. To avoid these fees, tickets may be ordered in person at the Fidelity Bank Box Office at the Scranton Cultural Center 420 N Washington Ave, Scranton, PA There is a limit of 4 tickets per order.
This is an accessible venue. Customers should contact box office at (570) 344-1111 to purchase tickets. Note that there is no elevator to the Mezzanine or Balcony Level. Accessible Seating is located in the Orchestra Level Only. There is only stair access to the Mezzanine or Balcony, patrons who cannot/wish not to climb stairs should purchase tickets in the orchestra level or call the box office for accessible seating.
