Your full-day Rainbow Mountain Peru tour starts with an early morning pick-up from Cusco, followed by a three-hour drive to the Hanchi Pacha community. After breakfast and a safety briefing, you’ll embark on a 2.5-hour hike to the 5030-meter summit. The journey showcases stunning landscapes, llamas, alpacas, and the vibrant colors of the Rainbow Mountain. You’ll also pass through local Andean communities, learning about their traditions and the Apacheta ritual for blessings. Horse rentals are available for those uncertain about hiking at high altitudes.
