Uyuni Salt Flats Full Day with Bus Uyuni to La Paz – Uyuni Salt Flat, Bolivia

EXPERIENCE

DAY 1
Start your tour by departing from Uyuni City to the Salar de Uyuni at 10:30 am for a full-day excursion. First, visit the Uyuni “train cemetery”, where you can see Bolivia’s first locomotives. Next, head to the small town of Colchani, where you will find salt miners’ workshops and crafts made from salt and llama and alpaca textiles. Take photos as you explore the vast white expanse of salt. Later, visit the Salt Water Eyes and a hotel completely built of salt, now used as a museum. Lunch will be served near “Incahuasi Island”, after which you will have time to climb to the top of the island and see giant cacti and petrified coral formations. Take a moment to organize your group and take fun, distorted photos on the blinding white surface of the salt flats. Then, head to a spacious area for the unique experience of watching a beautiful sunset over the salt flats accompanied by a glass of wine. Arrival in Uyuni at 7:15 p.m. Take your bus from Uyuni to La Paz at 9:30 p.m.

DAY 2
Arrival in La Paz at 6:30 am.
