Tour of the most important points in the city of Cusco. – Cusco, Peru

EXPERIENCE:

This tour is excellent to acclimatize and prepare for more demanding tours such as the Rainbow Mountain.

First we start with the pick up from your respective hotel near the historic center of Cusco, for this case we have two shifts: morning shift and afternoon shift, if you want to take the tour in the morning shift the pick up is at 8:00 am approx., if you choose the afternoon shift the pick up is at 13:00 pm. It is worth mentioning that the tour lasts about 5 hours. We start the tour, our first point to visit is the Temple of Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), in this place we will have a guided tour of about an hour, then we go to the archaeological center of Sacsayhuaman (Imposing example of Inca military architecture). Continuing with the excursion we will visit the archaeological center of Qenqo, it is a ritual center built on a unique limestone outcrop. Later we will visit the red fortress of PukaPukara where the reddish color and the military construction of this place is characterized and finally we will go to the fortress of Tambomachay that is characterized by having a main waterfall that is known as ¨the baths of the Inca¨. Finally we will return to the city of Cusco, our transportation service will not take us to the city of Cusco.
