Shey Phoksundo National Park’s main feature and one of Nepal’s tourist destinations is Phoksundo Lake. This alpine freshwater oligotrophic lake is situated in the Dolpo area at an elevation of 3,612 meters/11,850 feet above sea level. The lake’s distinct color is a result of the Kanjiroba and Kanjirawla peaks melting.

While not as well-known as Everest, Annapurna, or Langtang, the location has been satisfying the needs of real travelers and entertaining a sizable number of tourists.
