Rome: Sistine Chapel, Vatican Museums Early Bird Guided Tour - Rome, Italy
  • Anywhere

EXPERIENCE:

You will meet before normal Sistine chapel hours: your guide will wait for you directly outside of the Vatican Museums, ready to get inside as first.

Thanks to our first access ticket, you will enter the museums 30 minutes before the start of the group tours and one and a half hours before the opening to the general public. Before heading inside, the guide will give you an introduction to the museums and share some interesting facts about the Sistine Chapel, as no talking is allowed here.

As you do not need to wait in the queues at the ticket office, you will enter the Vatican Museums at 8 am and walk to the Sistine Chapel. You will be among the first ones there!

You will have plenty of time to appreciate all the details of the amazing Michelangelo’s frescoes.

You can visit the rest of the Vatican Museums on your own until closing time.

Get to know the spectacular Belvedere and admire the historical maps of ancient cartographers in the Gallery of Maps and the beautiful tapestries of some of Raphael’s students in the Gallery of Tapestries. Its exhibition has a permanent collection of great artistic and patrimonial value. Particularly noteworthy are the Rooms of Raphael, the Gallery of Maps and the Pio-Clementine Museum, which houses the famous sculpture of Laocoön and his sons.
