EXPERIENCE

Following pick-up from your hotel at 07:00, journey to a coffee plantation in the lush landscapes of Bali and learn how the local kopi luwak is produced. Known for its high price due to the unusual method of using beans digested by the Indonesian civet (a cat-like mammal), the result is often referred to as “cat poop coffee.” Taste some of the curious brew, along with tea products produced in the region. All tastings are complimentary, except for the luwak coffee, which is at your own expense (around US$5 per cup).

Then, head to the start point of your trek at approximately 10:30. Walk down a small path with hundreds of steps and get stunning views of the lush green jungle surroundings. Admire a waterfall in the distance as it falls through the dense forest in 6 cascades. Walk up to the waterfall to see the fresh water tumbling from heights of 260 feet (80 meters). Then, recharge over lunch at a local restaurant at the end of your trek.

Continue to Ulun Danu Temple (Pura Ulun Danu Beratan) to see the reflections of the sacred Hindu monument, dedicated to Shiva, shimmering in the waters of Lake Beratan. Return to your hotel at around 16:00 and get dropped off at the end of the tour services.
