Perth City Paddleboard Tour – Perth and Kinross, United Kingdom

EXPERIENCE:

Starting from the wide open river outside Willowgate we’ll head to Moncrieffe Island and then up it’s North secluded channel. As we get closer to the city centre we’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the tranquil scenery while trying to spot wildlife e.g. otters, kingfishers, beaver, heron etc. The wildflowers in summer are beautiful, and the rest of the year, beaver evidence is fascinating sight to see on the river banks.

Once at the top of Moncreiffe Island, the views of the Perth City skyline are one of a kind. Most locals have never seen it from this angle and are always excited for the picture perfect moment. Once we’ve stopped for a breather and a photo we’ll head back down the South side of Moncrieffe island taking note of a bit of Perth’s history before heading back to Willowgate, triumphant after our 7km paddle!
