Transfer from Motul to the Apiary:
Following breakfast, embark on a short transfer to an apiary, a natural space hailed as one of the best living museums of honey. Here, you’ll step into the shoes of a beekeeper for a day, gaining insights into the history of bees and the vital role played by the Melipona bee in Yucatán and Mexico.

Interactive Tour at the Apiary:
Engage in a hands-on experience with bees that do not have stingers, participate in a candle workshop using natural wax, and savor a tasting session of hive products such as propolis and royal jelly. Immerse yourself in the diverse flavors of honey produced by these endemic Yucatán bees. If you’re inclined, learn the art of crafting candles using wax derived from beehives. The apiary store offers a range of bee-related products for purchase.

Return to Merida:
As the experience concludes, enjoy free time to explore and buy products from the apiary store. Then, we’ll begin our trip back to Merida, marking the end of this immersive journey into the world of Melipona bees.
