EXPERIENCE
In the afternoon our Egyptologist tour guide will pick-up you from your hotel in Luxor, start your private trip by short driving to the Karnak Temple in Luxor through the traffic.
Arrive there you stop Luxor Temple which was once joined to the Temples of Karnak by a two-kilometer long Avenue of Sphinx, a portion of which marks the entrance to the temple. Dominated by statues of the great warrior pharaoh Ramses II, Luxor Temple has survived Nile floods, foreign invasion and thousands of years exposed to the elements. And see one of the original pair of obelisk, the second of which now stands on the Place de la Concorde in Paris.
Optionally you will have the chance to visit an Papyrus factory for shopping before transfer you to the Karnak Temple which
each pharaoh tried to perpetuate his name. On entering the Temples of Karnak you will see each legacy left by the various pharaohs as the complex grew even larger.
The deeper you go the further back in time you will navigate. One of the famous area in Karnak temple – Hypostyle hall with 134 massive columns with over three meters in diameter.
Take a cruise on the Nile river in a traditional felucca sailing boat to discover the beauty of Luxor. Relax with a drink as you soak up the scenery. Enjoy a private trip with hotel pickup and drop-off.
See camels, donkeys, and a wide variety of birds and wildlife. Watch children playing in the water and traditional farmers at work. Marvel as the sun sets over the west bank and the Valley of the Kings.
Our day is finish and it’s time to transfer you back to your Hotel in Luxor.
