You’ll see the ruins of a church that was destroyed during the blitz before being left to time as a memorial to the bloodshed. You will also discover the important Allied wartime headquarters. You will see where Sir Winston Churchill delivered his famous VE Day speech, and where Dwight D. Eisenhower, Supreme Allied Commander, plotted the downfall of the Third Reich.

For decades MI5, MI6 and GCHQ pitted themselves against the KGB in a silent war that played out on the streets of London. In a very literal sense, the British capital quickly became a crucial battleground in the Cold War against Russia.
