London: Pimlico riverside history guided walking tour – London, United Kingdom

EXPERIENCE:

Explore part of London’s watery connections while walking alongside the majestic River Thames.
The walking tour starts at Pimlico underground station and then follows the track of one of London’s lost rivers to the bank of the Thames.
The tour then follows the Thames bank to explore the locations of former docks, factories, power stations, a distillery, a waterworksV and a pumping station before finishing at London’s shortest canal.
The tour is supplemented by old maps, photographs and drawings to help bring Pimlico’s riverside history back to life.
The end of the tour is a short walk from Victoria underground and main line station.
