From Tirana: Day Trip at Sazan Island- Karaburun Peninsula – Vlorë County, Albania

EXPERIENCE

The trip takes place early in the morning in Tirana, the capital of Albania. A short stop for breakfast or morning coffee will take place through the road to the port of Vlora. In Vlora we will take the boat that will lead us to the Island and the Peninsula. During the boat trip, there will be a variety of activities available, such as parties, music, dance, different cocktails, which will make the trip in the blue water of sea unforgettable. Arrival at Karaburun Peninsula. Stop for about 3 hours to enjoy the crystal blue water of wonderful Albanian riviera Beaches. After enjoying the beach,it’s luch time. After that we head towards the Haxhi Ali Cave, this is the Illyrian Cave, also called the Hashi Ali Cave, in honor of the legendary Albanian pirate who lived between the years 1500 and 1600. Going inside, a lake appears in the form elliptical with the major axis directed from the entrance. Then we head towards the island of Sazan, it is located in the center of the Gulf of Vlora and is the largest in all of Albania. Formally. Sazan Island today is still a military base, with several active bunkers with rooms and food supplies. After a tour of Sazan Island, we retum to the ship to retum to the port of Vlora. where we will enjoy the sunset on the way back, and return to Tirana. End of the jouney.
