From Naples: Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Vesuvius Day Trip – Naples, Italy

EXPERIENCE:

Starting with the pick-up in Naples, stop first in Pompeii for approximately 3 hours. Stroll through the archaeological site and see the beautiful ruins for yourself, visiting the ancient houses and discovering the workshops and utensils of the time.
Drive to Herculaneum and enjoy approximately 2 hours of free time.

After Pompeii, head to Herculaneum, the second stop on the tour. Discovered in the 18th century, Herculaneum is smaller than Pompeii and can be visited in an hour and a half. Visiting this site will allow you to see how the Romans lived and to feel the sense of panic that must have surprised its inhabitants when the volcano erupted.

Finish your adventure at the top of Mount Vesuvius, where you can explore and admire the views for 1 hour.
Finally, return with your driver to Naples to conclude your experience.
