Following your visit to Siena, enjoy the scenic journey through the Chianti hills before arriving at a traditional family-owned vineyard. Settled in a pristine corner of the Tuscan countryside, take in the surrounding natural beauty while you learn about the wine-making process from grapes to bottles. Get a taste of the local cuisine as you eat a delicious lunch of locally-harvested food from the family’s farm, maintaining the traditions of Tuscan cuisine and Italy’s slow food movement. Next, visit San Gimignano, known for its tower that foreshadowed the emergence of modern-day skyscrapers. This 10th-century walled village still retains its original feudal character. Inside these walls, wander around and explore this remarkable medieval town. Enjoy some free time in this charming hill top town, before joining us back to Florence.
