Florence: Full Day Excursion to Cinque Terre on a GT Coach - Florence, Italy
  • Anywhere

EXPERIENCE:

As you travel from Florence to Riomaggiore in the Cinque Terre region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, take in the beautiful scenery, admire the houses leaning against one another, and take a stroll through the confined lanes and protected paths. Like the other four, this tiny village provides breathtaking coastal views as well as a peek into the lives of the local fishermen as you can see their traditional boats moored at the port.

You can continue your journey to Monterosso by taking a lovely boat ride (weather permitting) after arriving in Manarola by walking along the best known “Via dell’Amore” (The Path of Love), a romantic and evocative walk known for the rocks falling sheer into the sea. The largest of the Cinque Terre villages, it has a stunning beach with fine white sand and a transparent, clear sea, where you can swim in the crystal clear water, sunbathe, and enjoy a typical lunch before taking the boat to Vernazza, one of the region’s most vibrant villages.

You can spend some time here relaxing in this charming community of pastel-colored homes with stunning views of the azure waters. After spending the entire day visiting the charming villages, you’ll board the train at the last stop, Vernazza, and travel back to La Spezia. Bringing the tour of the Cinque Terre to a close before taking the bus back to Florence.
