EXPERIENCE

Our City Tour begins with hotel pick-up at 8:30 a.m. Our first stop will be the most important temple of the Inca culture, Qoricancha or “Temple of the Sun,” where you will witness Inca architecture at its peak and learn about the Inca religion.

Subsequently, the transportation will pick us up to head to the high part of Cusco and visit the archaeological complex of Sacsayhuaman, where the Inti Raymi is celebrated every year. Additionally, we will observe the enormous zigzagging walls.

Next, we will have a tour in Qenqo, renowned for its Inca amphitheater, and explore the semi-closed cave with sculpted figures on the stones.

Afterwards, we will visit Puca Pucara, the “red fortress,” believed to have served to control the entrance to Cusco. Finally, we will explore Tambomachay, where you will observe water channels and small fountains, and then return to the city of Cusco around 2:00 p.m.
