Catania: Full-Day Sailboat tour with Lunch – Catania, Italy

EXPERIENCE:

Departure to the port of Catania on board our Jeanneau Sun Odissey 34.2 sailing boat, accompanied by our skipper.
Sailing or motor navigation depending on the marine weather conditions.

Second stage:
Passage in front of Ulysses’ caves (from the permitted distance). These are caves formed in a beautiful lava cliff overlooking the sea. The colours of the seabed are wonderful, ranging from blue to light blue to aqua green.

Third stage:
Sailing to the fishing port of Acitrezza, passing under the medieval castle of Acicastello. The view of the castle from the sea is spectacular. One can observe the characteristic ‘pillow lavas’, present under the castle and due to the rapid cooling of underwater eruptions.

Fourth stage:
Return navigation to the Port of Catania.
Once you have slept in, we will offer you on board a lunch* (included in the price) consisting of a rustic starter (pickles, salami and cheese), a fish-based first course (according to our availability), water, fruit and DOC white wine produced by Emilio Sciacca.

*It is possible to request a vegetarian or vegan menu. For any other dietary requirements (gluten free, vegan diet, etc.), please let us know when booking.

The end of the experience is scheduled for around 15:30.
