• Day 1: Giza Pyramids, Egyptian Museum, and Bazaar

Begin your tour with a morning pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza. Start your day with a visit to the Pyramids of Giza: Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Visit the Valley Temple, where priests mummified the body of King Chephren. Get a close-up look at the Sphinx, the legendary guardian that stands by the huge funeral complex with a lion body and Chephren’s head.

Lunch at a local restaurant is included. Continue to the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, which contains the largest collection of Egyptian art in the world. Discover the over 250,000 genuine artifacts that date as far back as 5,000 years. Proceed to the Khan El Khalili Bazaar for a 1-hour visit. The numerous shops contained within offer fine brass ware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver and gold, antiques, and much more. Get dropped off at your hotel in Cairo.

• Day 2: Alexandria Day Tour from Cairo

Get picked up in the morning and transfer via air-conditioned vehicle to Alexandria, which is located about 130 miles away. Start with a visit to the Roman Theater, home to 800 marble seats, galleries, mosaic floors, and a garden surrounded by Roman villas and baths.

Then, see the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, the 3-level tombs which contain the stone benches upon which ancestors sat to feast on the dead and 2nd-century AD statues. Visit the Alexandria Library and pass by the Qaytbay Citadel and El Mursi Abu Elabas. Take some free time for a walk. Savor a tasty local lunch in between activities and relax on a transfer back to your hotel at the end of the tour.
