Johnston Canyon – Beginner’s Hike

Embark on a journey where the whispers of the forest guide you through a realm of natural splendor. Johnston Canyon, a jewel nestled in the heart of Banff National Park, invites you to traverse its elevated boardwalks and witness the awe-inspiring dance of waterfalls cascading into crystal-clear pools below. Feel the mist on your face as you stand before the majestic Lower Falls, accessible through a hidden cave for an intimate encounter with nature s power.

Lake Louise

A Jewel in the Crown of Banff National Park As you stand at the edge of Lake Louise, the world falls silent, save for the gentle lapping of the glacial waters. The lake, a mirror to the sky, reflects the grandeur of Mount Victoria and the elegant beauty of the hanging glacier that adorns it. During summer, this is a scene so majestic, so utterly breathtaking, that words like heart-stirring only begin to capture its essence.

Moraine Lake

Embark on a journey to Moraine Lake, where the majesty of the mountains meets the serenity of the turquoise water. It s a destination that beckons travelers from afar, promising a respite for the weary and inspiration for the dreamer. Touch the earth, feel the texture of rock and tree, and know that you stand in a place of timeless beauty, a place where every visit is a voyage into the heart of nature s masterpiece.

The Ten Peaks

Surrounding the lake, the Ten Peaks rise like ancient guardians, their jagged tips piercing the sky. Each peak, named by the Stoney Nakoda people, tells a story of time immemorial, of windswept stone and enduring spirit, a landscape carved by glaciers and adorned by the elements.

Town of Banff

Banff Avenue is lined with eateries that cater to every palate. From cozy cafés to fine dining, each bite is infused with the essence of the Rockies. We will share our cherished dining spots that promise to delight your palate. With its array of shops, Downtown is a treasure trove for those seeking outdoor gear, local art, and unique souvenirs. You will have time to enjoy this charming town before heading back to Calgary.

We might add a few secret stops depending on traffic flow, weather conditions and wildlife sightings in the area.

This trip lasts about 11.5 hours and it offers a short hike at the canyon. The tour is for adults only, but we might be able to accommodate families as well (ask before booking).

Groups are 6 to 12 passengers per vehicle, seats are intentionally not filled to capacity for everyone’s comfort reasons.

You will be picked-up and dropped off at your hotel. If you required to be drooped off at another location in Banff, Canmore or Calgary please let us know in the special request area when booking.
