GSB Class of 2000 Weekend Retreat | October 2026 at Class of 2000 Private Residence in Menlo Park – Menlo Park, CA

GSB Class of 2000 Weekend Retreat | October 2026 at Class of 2000 Private Residence in Menlo Park – Menlo Park, CA
At our 25th reunion, we discovered that many of us are facing a lot right now: young adult kids who are leaving home, parents who are getting older, careers that are peaking or shifting, relationships that are morphing. We also discovered that most of us don’t have the time or space to talk about this with people who are going through the same journey.
That’s why we decided to offer this weekend retreat: as a chance for us to connect and explore those topics together. Come for the reunion energy; stay for the laughs and conversations you can only have with people who knew you when…
- Friday night: dinner in small groups at classmates’ houses.
- Saturday: the main day at a private home in Menlo Park — three facilitated sessions on the relationships that matter (kids, parents, partners, friends, and how we’re holding up ourselves), meals together, and dinner that night with significant others welcome.
- Sunday morning: one more session, then we wrap by noon.
This is organized by a small group of classmates and priced to break even. Whether you’ve stayed in touch with the class or missed reunion, please come.
Past attendees from our 2022 retreat said:
“A rare balance – joyful and fun, yet deeply meaningful, with moments of openness and vulnerability that lead to real insight and lasting connection.”
“We’re not alone. There’s something incredibly powerful about reconnecting, being vulnerable, and realizing how much we share at this stage of life.”

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
The weekend revolves around a few main themes: meaningful relationships for our season of life, transitions and challenges (e.g., young adult children, aging parents, partner and friend relationships, second careers etc.) and what’s next for us as we navigate our 50s and 60s.
The weekend will be led by trained facilitators and classmates.
“I didn’t realize how much I needed this. Reconnecting with classmates in such an honest, open way was incredibly meaningful. There was a perfect mix of structure and ease that made it easy to share, listen, and learn from one another.” ~ Trica P.

A: This retreat is being run by a small group of classmate volunteers, we welcome help from others! Specific ways you can help:

A: We will handle refund requests on a case by case basis. If losing your registration fee would put us below our minimum required to break even, we will unfortunately not be able to issue a refund.
