A 4-week in-person reset in Toronto for ambitious professionals and immigrants ready to start living and leading with clarity at work & home

You came to Canada. You built the stability. You landed the role. You kept going.

And now, every time one thing is complete, the next thing is already waiting.

Work asks for more. Home asks for more. Your future asks for more.

Until it’s 5:00 p.m. and you find yourself asking:

“What did I even do today? Why am I so exhausted?”

Maybe you’re physically with your family or friends, but your mind is still replaying the workday.

Maybe your evenings and weekends have become a time to recover instead of a time to live.

Maybe you keep telling yourself, “Once this project is over… once I get promoted… once things settle down…”—but they never really do.

Back to Steady is an invitation to pause.

To reconnect with yourself.

To build a sense of steadiness that doesn’t disappear the moment life becomes busy again.

Over four weeks, we gather in community and practice coming back to yourself, again and again.

There’s a stretch in most careers that gets the least support — not the beginning, when everything is new and there’s a whole system built to catch you. Not the top, once you finally have the resources to match the pressure. It’s the years in between. The ones spent holding a team, a project, a department together, quietly carrying the most weight with the least support to carry it.

About Sanam

I come from Mumbai — a city that teaches you to keep moving. When I moved to Toronto, I built the career I thought I wanted, including a role at a Big Four firm. On paper, it looked like success. But underneath it, I was running on empty — carrying the weight of a new country without the family, community, or support systems I’d grown up around.

I trained for my Yoga Teacher Certification in Mysore, India — the birthplace of yoga — and that training changed how I teach. My approach is rooted in chakra-based and Ayurvedic principles, going back to the South Asian traditions yoga actually comes from, rather than a workout-studio version of it.

The corporate version of me, before this training, and the version of me after it, are genuinely two different people. These practices are what taught me to show up with presence, clarity, and controlled urgency instead of spiraling — the over-doubting, the second-guessing your own voice, that’s so easy to fall into in corporate spaces. They taught me self-trust: the idea that a mistake is not a failure, it’s an opportunity to learn — and that resilience is built by continuing to show up, not by never faltering.

Now I bring together that lived corporate experience with yoga, somatic movement, breathwork, and nervous system regulation, to help other professionals and immigrants build that same self-trust — without waiting for burnout to force the pause.

This isn’t therapy, and it isn’t another productivity hack. It’s a grounded space to notice your body before burnout becomes the only signal you listen to.

If you’ve been feeling like life has become something you’re constantly trying to keep up with, this space was created for you.

You don’t need to have it all figured out before you come. You just need to be willing to pause. We’ll take it from there.

This is a small group, capped at 13 people, on purpose. Not a webinar, not a one-off wellness event — an in-person space small enough that the practices actually have room to become habits instead of good intentions.
