It’s hard to believe, but Merry Pin is turning TWO! Over the last 730 days, this community has turned a little dream of a craft shop into a roaring fire of creativity, connection, and color.

Since our birthday falls right in the middle of Pride Month, we’ve decided to turn up the volume. This year, our anniversary theme is Too Hot to Handle. We’re celebrating the sizzling success of this little corner and the vibrant, fiery spirit of our LGBTQ+ community here in DC.

Join us for a day of hot crafts, sizzling specials, and Pride.

• Chihuly Window Build: Add your own “spark” to our communal flame.
• The Hot Take Wall: Drop your spicy craft opinions.
• Turmeric Printing & Iron-on Bar: Quick-fire DIYs for all ages.
• Crafty Tales: A special reading of A Flash of Color and Light (The Chihuly story) for our little ones.
• Giveaways: Everyone who attends will receive one free raffle ticket, which you can then place into the prize jar of your choosing. Want additional chances to win? Show us your RSVP to earn a second ticket. You can also buy tickets on-site for $4/each. You do not need to be present to win.
• Free Cake & Bubbly at 3pm
• Happy Hour Pricing on cocktails, beer, and wine from 1pm-5pm
