Guitarist Joël C. Johnson has performed in over 36 countries. He is an Associate Professor of Music Industry, serving as the coordinator of Music Industry and Modern Guitar/Bass Studies at Albany State University.

We will be honoring Dr. Julian Earl White, retired Distinguished Professor of Music, Director of Bands and Chairman, FAMU Music Department. Under Dr. White’s leadership, the internationally acclaimed Marching 100 performed at three Super Bowls, The Grammys, The ESPY awards ceremony, CBS Game Day, and the Inaugural Parade for Presidents William Clinton and Barak Obama. The FAMU Wind Ensemble performed at the American Bandmasters Association Convention, and others.

Sterling Stevenson, the Voice of Bragg, will emcee the evening’s fun. Bahamian cuisine from Chef Rodney James. There will be amazing wines. Cigars from World-Class Barber Jeffrey Davis, owner of Astute Gentlemen Cigar & Barber Lounge in Dallas. VIP Swag Bags, drink specials all night, a local jazz legend will be spotlighted as a HAPCO Ambassador of the Year and more.

Proceeds benefit HAPCO Music Foundation, helping young musicians and artists build their better futures. Founded by FAMU Alum Joseph Patrick HAP McMullen, Incoming class of ’85.

Sterling Stevenson has been FAMU’s The Voice of Bragg since 2018, the voice heard at Bragg Stadium games. He hosts “The Top 10 Countdown” on Soul95.com. He previously was a host on Orlando’s Star 94.5 FM.

World-class Barber Jeffrey Davis, owner of Astute Gentlemen Cigar & Barber Lounge in Dallas will be there! He will have a selection of world-class cigars for sale at the show, including the Astute Gentlemen private brand.
