Led by the operatically-trained Lizzy Shapiro, whose voice NPR describes as “one part Eartha Kitt, one part Ella Fitzgerald, one part Amy Winehouse,” the band brings a glamorous, subversive mix of vintage pop and biting humor. Lizzy, along with musical director Dan Barrett—who’s played with and arranged for the legendary Benny Goodman—will haunt the night with their uniquely enchanting sound.
