Join or Die, a documentary on community in America, is about “why you should join a club… and why the fate of America depends on it.”

Join us for a community screening of the film, Join or Die, a documentary on community in America, the loneliness crisis, and Robert Putnam’s “Bowling Alone” research. The 14th Street Y serves as a hub of bringing people together through swimming, fitness classes, art classes, parenting groups, and our new clubs, classes and workshops.

Prior to the screening, we will host a joining fair, where attendees can learn about, sign up for, and contribute to new groups and clubs (Spanish club, Strategic Board Games, Genealogy, Mah Jongg, Knitting, and more!).
