2024-25 Season Premiere – “Autumn Serenade,” an evening of enchanting string music that spans the Classical, Romantic, and modern eras.

The West Jersey Chamber Music Society invites you to experience a night of serenades that perfectly capture the cozy, reflective vibe of fall performed by the West Jersey Orchestra Strings.

The program features Mozart’s Serenade in D Major, K. 239, a piece that’s lively and bright, bringing to mind a sunlit afternoon in autumn.

You’ll also hear Joseph Suk’s Serenade in E-flat Major, Op. 6, with its rich, warm melodies that feel like the musical equivalent of walking through a forest of autumn leaves.

Dag Ivar Wirén’s Serenade for String Orchestra, Op. 11 adds a light, breezy touch to the evening, perfectly matching the crispness of a fall day.
