The bar puts money in the jukebox & announces the theme. You pick the tunes!

Exchange stories about your favorite songs, artists, and more! At this weekly event you can expect lively conversation about music and the music industry.

The bar puts money in the jukebox and attendees are invited to play tracks that fall within the day’s theme. If we run out of songs, we welcome short curated playlists around any theme, 2 – 3 songs in length.

One example was the theme of “Stars,” which included songs about stargazing, stars in your eyes (love songs), and celebrity stardom. Go as broad as you can justify – that’s part of the fun!!

The $5 cover includes 1 well drink or domestic beer.

Hank’s Cafe is the “Cheers” of Hawai’i, a friendly neighborhood Dive Bar in Chinatown. Don’t let the name deceive you – there is no food available at the bar, but you are welcome to bring in whatever you like. Sometimes we have pupus.
