Join us for a beautiful day of connection and reconnection to your body and the Earth. At elemental, we believe that true wellness begins with repairing our disconnection of our selves and nature. The intention of this retreat is to invite you reconnect with yourself and nature, perhaps in a way you haven’t experienced before.
Julie + Julia will guide you through a collborative practice that weaves together forest therapy, gentle movement, meditation, invitations, and wisdom circles. Some of the practice will be together as a group, and portions are encouraged to explore on your own (with instruction given).
Set outdoors in the mountains of LA, you won’t be far from the city, but you’ll feel a world away. Exact address given after registration; a private indoor bathroom is available at the base of the hiking trails.
The setting includes private hiking trails, serene overlooks, and a babbling brook. Please know that this is, regrettably, not an ADA accessible event and will involve navigating manicured, but steep terrain. We recommend you wear layers, hiking boots/sturdy close-toed walking shoes, and be sure to wear/bring sunscreen and a hat. There are beautiful trees and plenty of shade, but the entire retreat is outdoors, as the invitation is to reconnect with nature. Please wear clothing that you’re not afraid to sit on the ground in.
