A soulful, high-energy musical powerhouse playing a fusion of rock, blues, folk and reggae, including originals and fan favorites.

A fusion of rock, funk, blues, folk and reggae, IBW emerged from the foothills of El Dorado County in 2004. As solid contributors to the local music scene in and around Sacramento for over a decade, Island of Black and White has established itself as a soulful, musical powerhouse. Having played for a heaving crowd of thousands, their music has gained a substantial and loyal following. IBW delivers high energy performances, playing a large variety of music, including originals and covers – and their energy is shared with the entire crowd. It is an experience like no other. 

See them live at Almost Famous Wine Lounge, an award-winning, new tasting room and venue located on Vasco Road in the heart of Livermore’s wine, spirits and brewery district. Almost Famous Wine makes fifteen wines in diverse styles, and earned over 50 top industry awards since our debut in 2021.

There is a two drink minimum for each guest. With a menu of 15 wines in diverse styles and sophisticated non-alcoholic options, there’s something for everyone.

Dancing is encouraged at Almost Famous, and usually takes place in front of and to the side of the stage. If a dance party breaks out, we cannot guarantee a completely unobstructed view to those sitting in the bistro table seats.
