This workshop is intended for public and private land managers both new to prescribed fire as well as those looking to gain more experience.

This workshop is intended for public and private land managers both new to prescribed fire as well as those looking to gain more experience on the fire line. The Ohio Prescribed Fire Council is offering this opportunity to help land managers obtain more knowledge about the core skills needed to plan and conduct prescribed fires safely and effectively. This workshop will be especially useful to those new to prescribed fire. Various topics will be presented by experienced fire managers including building a fire program, burn unit planning and preparation, fire regulations and training opportunities, and equipment displays.

This workshop registration fee of $35 will include a box lunch, refreshments, and workshop materials. Morning refreshments and box lunches will be from Panera Bread.
