CLA’s First Ever Pickleball Tournament Fundraiser – Pickle Palooza! – Atlanta, GA

Welcome to CLA’s First Ever CLA Pickleball Tournament Fundraiser – Pickle Palooza! Get ready for a fun-filled evening of pickleball action and fundraising for a great cause. Join us on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 starting at 6 PM at the Atlanta Pickleball Center.

This event is perfect for pickleball enthusiasts of all skill levels. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a beginner looking to learn, there’s something for everyone at Pickle Palooza! Plus, you’ll have the chance to meet other pickleball fans and make new friends. Non-pickleball players are welcome and can enjoy the light appetizers and beverages (BYOB) while cheering on the competitors!

5:30-6:30 PM: Doors Open; Player/Team Check-in

6:00 PM: Round Robin matches begin. Standard scoring with matches being played to 11 points – teams do not have to win by 2 points.

8:00-8:15 PM: Sponsor Appreciation and CLA Donation Drive

8:15-9:00 PM: Knock-out round. Winners of round robin stage will advance to play in knockout matches. Same scoring and rules apply.

Do I have to purchase tickets in advance? Can I buy them at the door?
Yes! To ensure the event runs smoothly, we are selling tickets in advance online through Eventbrite. Unfortunately, there will be no tickets available for purchase at the door.

Is there a deadline to purchase tickets online?
Yes! The deadline to purchase tickets is September 26. In order to receive a refund of the ticket price, notice of cancellation must be received in writing in order to be processed. To cancel your tickets, please email laura.deisley@claoa.com. Eventbrite processing fees are non-refundable.

If I am unable to attend, can I receive a refund?
If tickets were purchased before September 26, you are eligible to receive a refund on the ticket price; the Eventbrite fees are non-refundable. (Please see question above) Any tickets purchased after September 26 do not qualify for a refund and will be considered a donation.

Once I purchase my tickets online, will I receive them in the mail?
No! Once you purchase your tickets, they will be available in your Eventbrite account. You can set up a free Eventbrite account at checkout. From there, you can save your digital ticket to your mobile device, or print it out from your computer.

Is parking available?
Yes! The Atlanta Pickleball Center has ample parking available for the event.

Will weather affect the event?
No! The event will be hosted inside, so we won’t have to cancel the event due to weather concerns.

Do I need to bring food or drinks will me?
No! We will have waters and light hors d’oeuvres available throughout the evening. However, guests are welcome to BYOB, as alcohol is permitted.

What if I cannot attend – can I still donate?
Yes! Donations to CLA can be made directly through the CLA website at https://www.claoa.com/donate
