Mike Blakely is a novelist/singer/songwriter from Fredricksburg, Texas. Kristyn Harris is from Burleson, Texas, and is the current (and 7 time winner), of the International Western Music Association’s Female Performer of the Year, and 5 time Entertainer of the Year. Andy Wilkinson is a poet, playright, teacher, writer and singer of Western Folk music from Texas Tech in Lubbock, TX.

This is going to be a delightful group and a delightful cowboy music journey! Mike Blakely, singer/songwriter and novelist, will bring his own unique style, Kristyn Harris, her musicality, energy and passion and Andy Wilkinson his own poetry and songs as well as his interpretations of traditional cowboy music .

As a singer/songwriter, Mike Blakely has released 14 solo albums, performed all over the U.S. and has made 16 tours to Europe. His songs have been recorded by Alan Jackson, Gary P. Nunn, Red Steagall, Flaco Jimenez and Raul Malo, Walt Wilkins & The Mystiqueros, John Arthur Martinez, Randy Brown, Geronimo Trevino III and Johnny Rodriguez, Johnny Bush, Jon Chandler, Bill Barwick and others. As an author, Mike has published 19 books with major New York City publishers. He won the Spur Award for Best Western Novel awarded by Western Writers of America. Mike is currently working on the sequel to A Sinister Splendor, which was released in February 2018.

Kristyn Harris, of Burleson, Texas, is a multi award winning singer, songwriter and entertainer known for her western swing spin on original and classic songs of the western and rural lifestyle. She is recognized for her powerful voice, swing rhythm guitar chops, songwriting, yodeling, and energetic stage presence, as well as the passion and authenticity that she puts into each performance. Kristyn tours across the U.S. and internationally, both as a solo artist as well as fronting various band configurations. When she’s not touring, she can be found with her black angus cattle herd, training her newest colt, or trick riding. She has been named International Western Music Association Entertainer of the Year 5 times and IWMA Female Performer of the Year 7 times

Andy Wilkinson currently serves as the Artist-in-Residence at Texas Tech University’s Southwest Collection and continues writing and making music as a way of life. Andy realized at the tender age of six that he wanted to be a poet. He also realized that the way to become a good poet was to live a life of variety, so he set about building an eclectic resume that includes time spent as a police officer, financial planner, commodities broker, and a formative stint as a bag-boy and cashier at Piggly-Wiggly. Andy wrote songs and poetry all along the way, releasing albums and gaining a reputation as a well-researched and well-liked personality on the national cowboy poetry stage. Andy appeared at Carnegie Hall this year as part of the select group that made up the Andy Hedges and friends Roll On, Cowboy show.
