As a member of the Malden community, you are invited to UMA’s Annual Meeting, to take place at Urban Media Arts, 145 Pleasant Street, Malden on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 6:00pm. Come join us for our annual gathering! This event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow members and hear updates from staff and the Board of Director of Urban Media Arts. Only Members of UMA may vote but this event is open to the public.

As a highlight of this year’s event, we will recognize and celebrate the 10th anniversary of Neighborhood View, UMA’s citizen journalism program.This year is extra special as we recently received designation as a member of the Institute for Nonprofit News (INN), a national organization that network local journalism initiatives across the country. We are so excited to join this prestigious group of national nonprofits that are making quality local journalism happen, despite the odds.
