Kathe Farris is a Boston-based stay-at-home mom, stand-up comedian, and snack cake enthusiast. She hit the comedy scene a little late in life with a different point of view and killer material. After becoming a Comic-in-Residence at The Comedy Studio and a finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival, she recently recorded her national debut with a Dry Bar Comedy Special. With an eye for detail and an understated edge that speaks to grandparents and frat bros alike, Kathe performs regularly at everything from corporate events to a basement show full of crust punks (one time, went great). Her weekly show, Farris and Friends Comedy Hour, even became “The Boston Globe’s Critics Choice.” They didn’t give her a plaque so she made one. She’ll show you later.

Amma Marfo decided to take to the stage on the nudge of a dare set for her by her podcast co-hosts. In the years since, she’s developed an “anxious Black nerd” persona that creates a unique take on current events, life as a thirtysomething, and pop culture. Her strong writing and attentive timing have allowed her to work with comics like Eric Andre (Adult Swim, ABC), Jay Jurden (The Problem with Jon Stewart), Alingon Mitra (The Daily Show), Mia Jackson (Comedy Central), and Leighann Lord (Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn). In addition to performing regularly in the New England area, she appears as a recurring panelist on The Great Pop Culture Debate podcast(#AmmaWasRight). She recently reached a major career milestone: headlining Boston’s storied Nick’s Comedy Stop in 2023 and 2024. As a producer, she’s a co-founder of New Normal Boston, a series of mics and shows dedicated to uplifting traditionally underrepresented comedians through shows, mics, and workshops; and is the producer of Pantry Raid Comedy, an online comedy show hosted on Comedy Hub that allows comedians to share their favorite jokes – and their strongest food-based opinions.

Maureen McCarthy is a local favorite and will be making a guest appearance.

Tickets are $35 and include the comedy show and a buffet dinner. Drinks are an additional charge. Gratuity not included in ticket price.

The buffet dinner will include chicken broccoli ziti, baked ziti with meatballs, salad, rolls, and apple crisp for dessert.
