From the creators of NYC Storefronts comes a sprawling collection of the shops that line the streets and sidewalks of the Big Apple’s most populous borough! A love letter to Brooklyn, Brooklyn Storefronts is the latest collaboration between illustrator Joel Holland and author David Dodge that intimately renders the small businesses (including Greenlight Bookstore!) that contribute to Brooklyn’s vibrant, ever-changing, and multicultural appeal . Each illustration includes engaging anecdotes and bits of neighborhood lore, researched by Dodge, that help bring additional flavor and context to Holland’s drawings. The pair will be accompanied by Prestel editor and author Ali Gitlow for a presentation, followed by an audience Q&A and signing.
