Over 1,000 people on Long Island are waiting for a life-saving kidneytransplant. The waiting list has over 90,000 people and can take cantake 7 years – most people won’t live long enough to receive a transplant. Finding a living donor is the fastest way to saving life, but people don’t know where to begin and how the process works. The NKF is here every step of the way, and plans to expand efforts.

That’s why Patrizia’s of Long Island and the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) have teamed up to host the ultimate Casino Night Fundraiser to provide kidney transplantation support on Long Island!

All proceeds from the event will directly fund life-saving workshops in Nassau and Suffolk County that explain the First Steps to Transplant, and How to Find a Living Donor, as well as ongoing social services support to people at various stages of transplantation.
