Wild Honey Presents Thomas Walsh with Special Guest Cosmo Topper – Los Angeles, CA

Wild Honey is proud to welcome our old friend and collaborator Thomas Walsh back to our backyard theatre. Over the past 10 years, Thomas has delivered stellar performances at numberous Wild Honey big shows at the Alex Theatre: Beatles, Beach Boys, Kinks, and Lovin’ Spoonful. With a wealth of amazing songs in his catalog, Thomas always delivers an amazing show in the Wild Honey backyard. We are thrilled to have him back. The wonderful Cosmo Topper, a Wild Honey stalwart since 1993, will provide an opening set.

Doors at 230pm. Food will be pasta or pizza.

A sprightly veteran of the music scene in Ireland for 25 years and a cult figure in all 4 corners of the globe, Thomas Walsh AKA ‘Pugwash’ and Duckworth in the Ivor Novello nominated ‘Duckworth Lewis Method’ with Neil Hannon, has made fans and friends since his debut platter ‘Almond Tea…’ in 1999. Since then, another dozen or so album releases with EMI, Omnivore and Andy Partridge of XTC’s APE label, Irish music award nominations, Ivor Novello accolades and now writing for Disney, it seems that Walsh’s career still has some varicose legs in it. The songwriter can also list amongst his friends and collaborators, Jeff Lynne, Ray Davies, Michael Penn, Matt Berry, Brian Wilson, Joe Elliott, Jason Falkner and others. 2023 brought forth a critically acclaimed debut solo album entitled ‘The Rest Is History’, released on the wonderful LA based ‘Curation Records’ label. Guests included Joe Elliott, Neil Hannon, Michael Penn, and actor/musician Matt Berry.

Cosmo Topper (Morley Bartnoff)Has been a part of Wild Honey since Paul’s first show at his house in 1993Bugs Tomorrow, Andy and The Rattlesnakes, Burning Sensations-whose song Belly of The Whale was a KROQ MTV staple The Summer of 1983-Stew and Heidi Rodewald,( Passing Strange), Ike Willis From Frank Zappa’s Bandand Dramarama are some of the Bands Cosmo has recorded, toured and performed with.
