Operating in the Fiona Apple / Dirty Projectors sphere of the alternative music spectrum, the Nicole Saphos Band is known for its harmonically bold and rhythmically driven original music. The LA-native, Philadelphia-based artists’ latest album Figure Eights centers around Nicole’s lifelong propensity for patterns. Sinusoidal Music describes it as feeling “…much like a Wes Anderson movie, full of character, color, and charm rooted in bittersweet feelings.

Rob Tait

Whether he’s serenading from behind the drums or the guitar, Rob Tait’s new Americana style can mend the ache of a broken heart or make you stomp and holler until the soles of your shoes fall off. Born and raised in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey, Philadelphia native Rob Tait’s music combines his Americana/folk/singer-songwriter vocal style with his deep-rooted love of rhythm and the drums.

Gracie Jay

Multi-talented arranger and vocalist, Gracie Jay has performed and recorded with artists including Cyrille Aimee, Nicholas Payton, Camille Thurman, Jamison Ross, and more. Her written works have been performed by groups including the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, Next Generation Big Band, and the New Guard Big Band. Part of a rare, niche category of talented female vocalists, Gracie is a powerful force on stage, simultaneously writing and arranging for the same large ensembles she masterfully sings for. In addition to her success as an arranger and jazz vocalist, Gracie works on several side projects including her solo vocal looping project. Using the BOSS-RC 505, she creates music using only her voice. Her collection of arrangements and original works showcases her diverse way of vocalizing and provides a unique listening experience.
