The Hidden Cedar Tour is a 2.5 hour walking tour of about 3 miles (about 4.8 km). From its famous, or infamous, “Hidden Beach,” to the secluded footpaths in the Burnham woods, Cedar Lake is clearly unique. Hidden Cedar Tours go beyond your typical walking and hiking tours to bring you an immersive experience of environmental, historical, auditory, and physical enjoyment as you explore these extraordinary locales. With close to three-miles of shoreline, Cedar combines, historic homes and architecture, three public swimming beaches, parks, and secluded woodlands totaling nearly 300 acres. The walk is mostly level, with some small hills. However, it has some areas of rough terrain with tree roots, rocks, and uneven paths. As such, this tour is not advisable for young children, or those who are mobility challenged.
