This tight 50 minutes of fiercely original theatre is created and performed by Courtney Walsh and We Players’ Artistic Director, Ava Roy. A poignant production about an irascible middle-aged scholar with dementia who communicates with her caretaker daughter using only the text of King Lear as the two struggle with aging, love and their own balance of power. The performance is our Act One and a facilitated discussion with the audience follows as Act Two.

It’s important to us that anyone, regardless of their income, is able to witness our work – please choose the ticket price that best fits your means. A limited number of tickets are available at each price point.

Standard ticket price- $40

Subsidized ticket price for those in greatest financial need- $20

Support our subsidized ticket level. Your ticket price at this level ensures that others in greater financial need may still experience this special event- $60

We have heard how much your picnics up here at the Bruns mean to you, so due to popular demand, picnics are back! Please feel free to bring your picnic without any additional fees.

However, outside alcohol is still not permitted, per the regulations of our alcohol license. Please visit the concessions bar for wine, beer, and other beverage. All bags/baskets are subject to search.
