Buckthorn is an invasive plant that can harm native ecosystems and reduce biodiversity. In this class, you will learn to identify types of buckthorn, the best tools and techniques for removing it, including chemical and chemical-free control, and how to restore the land after buckthorn removal. This class is timely because fall is the ideal time for buckthorn control. 

This class will be held at the Bayport Public Library, 582 4th St N, Bayport, MN 55003 

Instructor: Washington County Master Gardener
Cost: $5/free for co-op owners
