The Sing-Off returns with more opportunities for great music, cash prizes, and friendly competition.

PLEASE CHECK THE DATE CAREFULLY BEFORE PURCHASING. SINGERS SHOULD NOT PURCHASE THEIR TICKET UNTIL THEY HAVE SUBMITTED VIA EMAIL AND RECEIVED A PERFORMANCE DATE CONFIRMATION.

The Thousand Dollar Sing-Off is Chicago’s newest talent contest, produced by Davenport’s Piano Bar and Cabaret. The Sing-Off will consist of several individual weeks of competition, and each will focus on a different genre:

Disney: September 4th/11th/18th
Accompany Yourself: October 9th
Opera & Art Songs: October 23rd
Halloween, Comedy, & Novelty Songs: October 30th

Each week, three judges will award a $1000 first prize, $500 second prize, and a $250 third prize. These competitions will take place in the back room of Davenport’s, all beginning at 8:00pm. The competition is hosted by Daryl Nitz & Andrew Blendermann, with a combination of four judges.

Admission is $10 for both audience members and participants. Singers will receive a voucher for one drink. All other audience are encouraged to purchase drinks with their servers.
