of the Veneto region of Italy.

Highlighting the diverse array of world-class pours from this exciting region, our exclusive Veneto Wine Dinner features five courses of regionally inspired dishes paired with a range of wines and spirits from Prosecco to Soave Classico to Amaro.

Veneto is the 8th largest region in Italy with a population of around 5 million. Its capital is Venice, one of the most popular tourist destinations known as the “City of Canals”. Veneto’s diverse landscapes, including coastal plains, hills and alpine foothills, provide an ideal environment for grape cultivation which makes it the largest and most productive wine region in Italy.

Gianfranco D’Aniello has been representing the finest Italian wines to Northwest clients for the past 25 years. Born and raised in Napoli, Italy, he has lived in the Seattle area since 1988. Though he misses his Mamma’s ragu and octopus pasta, he finds comfort in Giuseppe Tornatore films and finding his beloved Caffe Tico at import stores.

Dalla Terra means “of the earth” in Italian and it is a national agent and direct importer of a small and select group of leading, family-owned wineries and spirits producers in Italy.
