Tuesdays, October 1st, 8th, and 15th from 6:30 to 7:30pm

Beginning Art will be an introduction to art creation. Artists will have the opportunity to explore a variety of art techniques including drawing, painting, and collage. In this class, artists will be encouraged to experiment and play as they practice their art skills with oil pastel, tempera paint, scissors, and glue. During the month of October, we will be inspired by the colors and textures of fall. Perfect for kindergartners and first graders who are excited to explore art!

Ms. Brenda has been teaching elementary art since 2005. She has a masters degree in Art Education. Her favorite art speciality is printmaking but also loves to draw and paint. She teaches art at Townsend Early Childhood Center and Townsend Elementary.

Ages 5 to 7

$85 for the three week session and includes all materials with “take home projects.”
