Local Government Opportunities & Challenges in 2025

Members, League partners and friends are cordially invited to attend the Delaware League of Local Governments’ monthly dinner meeting from 5:30-8:00 on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at the Maple Dale Country Club in Dover.

REGISTRATION/SOCIAL HOUR: 5:30 PM – 6:10 PM

DINNER: 6:10 PM – 7:15 PM

PROGRAM: 7:15 PM

The event features a presentation by:

House Minority Leader Rep. Michael Ramone

Rep. Michael Ramone will address local government opportunities, challenges, and legislative priorities for 2025. As a member of the Republican Party, he was first elected to the House in 2008. His other House Committee assignments include: House Administration, Ethics, Rules, and Veterans Affairs Committees.

Most recently, Mike served on a special committee assigned by Governor Carney – the Government Efficiency and Accountability Review Board – which was charged with identifying opportunities for cost savings in state government.

Mike has served as a member of two important Governor’s Councils: the Governor’s Mentoring Council for Children and Youth and the Governor’s Council on Health, Promotion and Disease Prevention.

He is co-chair of the House Small Business Caucus and past co-chair of the Kids Caucus in the House.

The cost of registration will be refunded to your original method of payment, but exclude service fees that have been applied by Eventbrite.
