As well as a hairshow, this event is to support a scholarship fund that was set up to help inspired students in the beauty industry. The Artist Palette Scholarship is available to students in any field related to cosmetology, who are located in West Virginia, Maryland, or Pensylvania. The goal is to raise $5,000 to allow the scholarship to begin being awarded.

Originally from the UK, Francesca resides in Philadelphia, PA, USA. Where she runs her unique Follicle hair studio and RESET Haircutting Academy.Francesca was an integral part of the Graham Webb International team, renowned for her performance as a platform artist at trade shows, Intercoiffure, Cosmoprof, in salon events, academy workshops, and hair collections for photo shoots.Francesca’s work has been featured in national and international trade publications, showcasing her eclectic talent ranging from classic to contemporary and avant-garde hairdressing. My name is Angela N. Williams. Licensed Senior Cosmetologist with 33 years experience, Master Cosmetology Educator Certified Hair Loss Specialists, Certified Cranial Prothesis Specialist, Salon Business Management Certified, President/CEO of JewelZ Hair RootZ and Follicles LLC All Natural Ingredients Product Line, and owner of Royalty Edge Salon LLC. Currently, I am a Master Cosmetology Educator at Award Beauty School, Salon Owner, Medical Wig Provider, Hair Loss Specialist, and product line owner. Being in the industry, servicing clients over the years, and educating students interested in the cosmetology field is very important to me, with the reward of seeing students start, finish, obtain their State Board of Cosmetology license, and then work in the industry and become financially stable.

As a salon manager for 2 decades, everywhere from New Jersey to Los Angeles, I saw the need for an elite shear sharpener in my hometown of Pittsburgh when our salon community suffered a great loss.

Together with my partner in crime and in life, Daniel, we started Running With Scissors in 2021. We found the best training program according to Behind the Chair and Daniel went through extensive one-on-one training with the best of the best. We then spent two years working in the industry where Daniel honed his craft before committing to Running With Scissors on a full-time basis.

Now, we bring our elite training, extensive experience, and reliable professionalism to every client. We specialize in sharpening both Japanese and German shears and show each pair we are entrusted with the love and care to bring them back to their original glory. We also cater to our knife and scissor clients with the same attention to detail.
