A community event for independent filmmakers to showcase their films!

“Last Wednesdays” Short Film Screening Series

Last Wednesdays is a chance for local filmmakers to share their films and also connect with other artists. Join us every (you guessed it) last Wednesday of every month for 75-90 minutes of curated short films. Each filmmaker will have a chance to introduce their film so it’s easier to know who is who after. The event is hosted by Dangerworks, which is located in the Silks Building in Long Island City.

GENERAL RULES:

-Submission is free, but admission to the event is $10 a person.

-Your submission alone does not guarantee a screening slot. The programming is at the discretion of the event organizers.

-Your submission does not guarantee ticket availability. You must purchase a ticket to guarantee admittance.

-At least one person from the creative team (the writer, the director, or the producer) must be present at the actual event for the film to screen.

-No walk-ins, you must purchase your ticket(s) on eventbrite.

-Each ticket purchase comes with a free drink ticket.
